Wednesday Morning, June 3, 10:30 a.m. upstairs in Heyssel Hall for Preschoolers age 3-5 years (not entering Kindergarten):  Theme - Learning to Be Big

Thursday Evening, June 4, 6:30 p.m. upstairs in Heyssel Hall for those entering K-4th Grade:  Theme - Thank a Hero - Those Who Serve with special presentation by Major Seth Everett, Officer in charge for Missouri Counterdrug Aviation

Upcoming Events


Storytime will resume Wednesday, June 3 with sessions for babies and toddlers (birth-35 months) and preschoolers (age 3-5 years, not entering Kindergarten) at 10:30 a.m. upstairs at the library. The sessions will include age appropriate stories and activities.

BC cover IrelandThe next selection for the Library Book Club is "Forgetting Ireland" by Bridget Connelly. All are welcome to join the book discussion on Wednesday, June 10, at 1 p.m. in the Bolinger Room upstairs at the library. 


Friends of the Library Sponsor Family Feud

Mark your calendar on Saturday, June 27 for Family Feud.  This fundraising event will be held at UCC Friendship Hall (101 N. Oak St.) beginning at 6:00 p.m.   The evening will begin with a Sundae Bar where you can create your own sundae with a variety of toppings.  There will be musical entertainment provided by Library Director, Connie Walker and her sister, Linda Cable.  At 7:00 the Family Feud game will begin and feature eight local families.  If your family is interested in participating in the game (5 members on a team), please call the library and ask for Connie for more information.  Admission to this event will be a donation at the door.  Money raised will go for new carpet tiles in the library.
